Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies and Digital Storage Technologies?
Cookies are small alphanumeric text files that are stored on your computer, smartphone, or tablet when you visit websites across the internet. Cookies permit web servers to recognize your specific terminal, remember your browsing preferences, ensure secure navigation, and measure platform performance.
In addition to standard HTTP cookies, Next Level Arcadia may utilize related local storage mechanisms (such as HTML5 LocalStorage and SessionStorage) to store non-identifying operational preferences, such as your dark theme settings and your cookie consent status.
2. How Next Level Arcadia Utilizes Cookies
We categorize all cookies and storage mechanisms deployed on our platform into three discrete functional classifications:
A. Strictly Necessary Storage (Essential)
These storage tokens are mandatory for the technical operation and security of the website. They include PHP session identifiers, CSRF security tokens to prevent cross-site request forgery attacks on our contact forms, and our local consent storage key (nla_cookie_consent) that records your privacy choices. These cookies cannot be disabled, as the website cannot function properly without them.
B. Performance & Analytics Storage (Optional)
Subject to your explicit consent, we utilize Google Analytics 4 cookies to collect anonymized telemetry regarding how visitors navigate our portal, which strategy guides receive the highest readership, and whether visitors encounter page load latency bottlenecks. All analytics data is aggregated and anonymized.
C. Advertising & Personalization Storage (Optional)
Subject to your explicit consent, Google AdSense and its certified advertising network partners deploy advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve relevant contextual advertisements and measure ad campaign effectiveness. If you decline advertising consent, Google AdSense operates in non-personalized mode without writing tracking cookies.
3. Google Consent Mode v2 Architecture
Next Level Arcadia integrates Google Consent Mode v2. When you visit our website, all advertising and analytics cookies remain blocked by default until you actively grant consent via our Cookie Banner or Customize modal dialog.
You can modify or revoke your consent at any time by clicking the "Manage Cookie Consent" link in our website footer. Revoking consent immediately dispatches a real-time signal to Google tags updating all parameters back to 'denied'.
5. Local Storage, Session Storage & Web Beacons
In addition to standard HTTP cookies, modern web technologies incorporate diverse client-side storage mechanisms designed to optimize data exchange and user preferences:
- HTML5 LocalStorage: Used by Next Level Arcadia to record your privacy preferences (
nla_cookie_consent) and dark theme settings. LocalStorage persists across browser sessions until explicitly cleared by the user. - SessionStorage: Used to maintain temporary form state and navigation history during active browsing sessions, automatically cleared when you close your browser tab.
- Web Beacons / Pixel Tags: Tiny transparent 1x1 graphic images embedded within web pages or emails that allow web servers to measure page view completions and verify whether an email transmission was opened.
6. Third-Party Advertising Vendors and IAB TCF Integration
Under our Google AdSense and Consent Mode v2 implementation, third-party advertising vendors participating in the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework may receive technical consent signals. These vendors use cookie identifiers to prevent ad fraud, ensure ad viewability measurement, frequency-cap advertisement impressions (preventing you from seeing the identical advertisement repeatedly), and deliver non-intrusive contextual creative units.
For a complete list of certified third-party ad vendors and their privacy policies, you may consult the IAB Europe Vendor List or manage specific vendor permissions directly through our interactive Cookie Settings dialog.
7. Do-Not-Track (DNT) Signals and Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Some internet web browsers incorporate a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that transmits a signal to visited websites requesting that browsing activity not be tracked. Because there is currently no universal industry standard governing how web platforms must respond to legacy DNT signals, our platform does not alter its operational behaviors upon receiving legacy DNT headers.
However, Next Level Arcadia actively recognizes and respects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When a user's browser transmits an active GPC signal, our client-side consent scripts automatically interpret this signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale, sharing, and targeting of personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising under CCPA/CPRA standards, automatically setting advertising consent parameters to 'denied'.
4. How to Manage Cookies in Your Web Browser
In addition to our interactive consent banner, all modern web browsers permit you to inspect, manage, block, and delete cookies through their internal settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data;
- Mozilla Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data;
- Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data;
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.
